100% agree. Big, aggressive, foul mouthed coaches are just that. Why should the players respond positively to such a coach? We need a coach who is a good communicator not a big bully.

Flanagan can't even get his assistants to like him for the most part....

Please let justin know that some fans are very unhappy with how Maguires departure was handled, that some are losing faith with the club and how it handles business.

Clubs like the Roosters would never air stuff like our preference for Ciraldo to replace Madge and the CE tour, 5 year contract and whatever else we threw at him. Just needlessly embarrassing if you come up short-as we did! We get enough negative press as it is without us stoking the fire!

you know I can’t share that..suffice to say Tuesday night I shared C.C. went cold on the WT and I confirmed yesterday he informed the WT he rejected us…the Tigers and media only reported it this afternoon…i only Report information on here when I’m told it is “strong mail”. I’m a long standing Tigers supporter, my sons and I , having contributed over 40 years of membership to the club. I am as passionate as the next supporter on here about our club, right now like most of us I’m disillusioned with how it’s being run, changes are needed from the Board down to bring success on the field…the only thing the football club seems to excel in is stuffing up and being amateurish in everything they do. Things will get better but it’s going to take a few years yet before we are contenders for the 8… I just wish the club would be upfront and acknowledge this. I doubt Sheens will stick around beyond 2024….unless the top To bottom changes are made

Yeah I think that's the issue. I don't want leaks from the football department as the next person. What I do want is for the board side to have some accountability. Who are making these decisions? Why are they not in the firing line? Sounds like a boys club to me and you won't get this team anywhere near the 8 if they are still in control over the next few years.

Should all be done in house. Let the media speculate. The next release (and only) after we sacked Madge is “here is our new coach”.
We’re like a streaker on Oxford street showing our pecker to anyone who passes by and if they are on the other side of the street we’ll wave em over just to make sure everyone has seen it.

Ive wondered about that. He was apparently given a look at everything? I assume player contracts, employee files, any existing systems, future planning, maybe last few years P&L? there may be nothing in any of that which made him change his mind, other than us being perhaps 10 years behind Penrith. I cant seem to stop thinking about how we missed out on Foxx with that HoA stuff.
Penrith said Ciraldo can have anything he wants in his contract.

and this should not have mattered anyway, because the whole roster would have been left in his hands,

It doesn’t take too much intelligence to realise that the club is badly on the nose with the best footy players. Which means it’s going to be near impossible to win at WT. and the administration is happy to wipe their hands of any responsibility.
