It was reported on this forum that the club met with Morris last week. I bet he worked over the weekend with Sheens to look at the roster, acquisitions and re-signings. Junior retention would be high on the list.

Was also sheens' second call the week after they punted Madge.

Maybe but he is a good choice for WTs. He is motivated, educated, will quickly earn the respect of our players and his junior development credentials are excellent. Many have already stated he should have been our first option and I agree. He was badly treated at the Sharks and deserved better especially after cleaning up Flanagan's mess.

We'll see if Sheens give him full reign. It looks like sheens is after an apprentice rather than a head coach.

I'd be happy with Morris tbh if it turns out to be the case. Even if Ciraldo did come the second Ivan looked to pull the pin or a better vacancy came up my feeling is he would be off.

I dont understand why we chased him so publicly in the media it was bizarre especially the statement he'd knocked us back, has any team ever made such a statement in relation to a coach that did not and has not worked for them.
