Ciraldo seems like a very good coach. Morris is also a very good coach but proven in the NRL under difficult circumstances. If we haven't signed Morris already I'd be disappointed. He will be good for WTs (as would Payten if he were available).

Supposedly, WT talked to CC last year: he made demands: the club since did the changes and re-visited CC: he again declined.
I can't see him ever taking us on nor could I imagine we'd approach him a 3rd time.

The argument was made that this was done because the coach they wanted turned us down last year but now he's going to join. We all now know that that is not true. Either that or we screwed it up just like Latrell, JAC, TPJ etc.

We can't do it now while we're trying to find a coach, but once we do, I hope Pascoe is gone.

I’m inclined to believe Noddy when he says, players are like gold fish, they forget stuff quickly. Why should our administration be different?

Totally get it paws, but that's been a huge issue for us in recent years as we have been unable to attract game breaking players, does Morris have the pulling power because we won't get anywhere in the near term relying solely on developing players.

All I can write is that he is popular. Nikora, Mulitalo, the Braileys, Flanagan, Xerri, Teig and Co all came through when Morris was coaching at the Sharks. I haven't heard if Nikora, Dykes or Pele have re-signed yet.

Who the hell does Ciraldo think he is anyway? He's just an assistant coach within a club system built by Gould. He's nothing atm. Hope its not true or else he needs a reality check.

He's the most loyal assistant money can buy. Let's face it, Ciraldo is in his comfort zone at the Panthers. There is no incentive to move at this time.

“Box has been a head coach himself overseas and had good success.

“He has obviously been involved in Brisbane’s junior program as well with his involvement with Easts, and I think that is a great move for him because he will know everything about the club having worked with the kids at the grassroots level all the way up”

... sounds like he’s a development coach and did play junior reps for Wests back in the mid 1980s 🤔
