Cleary has brought these players through to grade and many into the SOO team. Just a coincidence no doubt🙄

Look at the number of players in the SOO team from the Panthers. Look at how Cleary has also nutured Ciraldo. Some may believe this to be coincidence, while others like me consider it is his ability.

Mate Cleary screwed our club and has no integrity at all. He walked into a plum job. Ciraldo could be a complete dud.

I love your stuff but there is no way you can justify Cleary being anything other than one of the worst coaches we've ever had.

Madge might rant and rave but he he never screwed the players over like Cleary did.

Wouldn’t go as far to call him a dud. He’s the best coach we’ve had since Sheens was sacked though

He was terrible. He is a good coach in that he can get teams to perform to their level. He though has no integrity and he is a terrible football manager or at least he was the worst I've ever seen at our club.

I give you Packer, Joshy Reynolds and Moses Mbye. Clearly gave all these guys marquee dollars.

He only performed as well as he did because he got Benji back on a pittance.

I like you did not like what Cleary did to our club. But I recognise he is a fine coach and has done well with the Panthers. I hope WTs can do the same for the Campbelltown Macarthur Region and the Inner West.

We had a better squad but he signed Blair on big dollars and overpaid Robbie and Benji.

Also there is an interview with Cory Parker talking about Wayne Bennett and and Tim Sheenius coaching style very interesting to listen to

I think if Robbie would have played a game or two under Bennett before Potter it would have been very good for him Potter's coaching style is very much like Bennett's simple game plan work towards your teams strength's Robbie was very critical of that Sheenius is totally different and very very complex almost over coaching if Robbie would have understood that I think the Tigers would be in a much better position and Potter could have still been coach with Teddy still here

Teddy played some great games under Potter along with the other players and we had big aggressive forwards

Gould and Griffin did all the building of the team and set it up for Ivan to fulfill his superstar son's dream.

If you say so. I remember going from high flyers to duds under Sheens. The guy can coach but he also lost the plot. I remember our cap being screwed and releasing players like Gibbs. We must have paid good dollars for Blair who was a dud.

I don't have inside info in relation to the board. No offense but I doubt anyone who says they do.

I have no problems at all with Potter. I remember when we had 4 forwards on the bench and we were winning the forward battle. That is a rare occurence for a Tigers fan.

I agree with this. Cleary can coach. Coaches are though also football managers and he is up there with JT levels of incompetence.

Who ever the New coach is, chances of survival will depend on the success of our pathways system.

I think who ever gets the gig probably has the best starting point of any of our coaches in a long while. The cap is healthy, we a have two top shelve forwards joining us next year, centre of excellent up and running, a pathways system in place and Sheens to be the front man that handles the media. Okay the roster will be still bottom eight, but expectations from within and without will be low for a season and a half. Of course if our mystery coach can lure a couple of quality players, things might happen quicker.

I think Flano,Morris and Wolf all could do the job. Morris would be my choice, but I am willing to back anyone crazy enough to have a crack

Still feel sorry for Potter. Theres a lot of politics involved in coaching, and he doesn’t strike me as a political type. Just a good, honest dude.

There was a game I think against the Dogs. Marty T and Garvett were absolutely scary. We blew them off the field. I always liked Potter

Great post but I'm much more optimistic than you are. I honestly think we are a club that can turn it around if we don't stuff our cap.

I bolded the key line though. We will fail unless we get a good crop of juniors coming through. This is also why we can't stuff our cap. We need to be able to retain the right players.

I think our top team next year will be good. It's the depth that is an issue but to be more precise the depth of our forwards.

We need props that can bend the line off the bench.

It does though. He left us a mess. Madge hasn't left a mess. That is why it matters. I wonder if he will screw over Penrith longer term. It'll be interesting.
