Wests Tigers Coaches

It does though. He left us a mess. Madge hasn't left a mess. That is why it matters. I wonder if he will screw over Penrith longer term. It'll be interesting.
He’d be pretty stupid to considering he has a job for life thanks to his demon seed.

There was a game I think against the Dogs. Marty T and Garvett were absolutely scary. We blew them off the field. I always liked Potter
There was a game with played at Gosford against Manly, the game Gareth Ellis put that huge hit on the Manly prop. We were in front and Potter took Farah off when he was having a good game. It was such a poor strategic move and we lost the game. I'm sure he was gone from that time.

So that’s why Farah ratted him out to Tallis 🤔

Still feel sorry for Potter. Theres a lot of politics involved in coaching, and he doesn’t strike me as a political type. Just a good, honest dude.
Very good post and the game when big Keith got 4 and Mose played fullback was awesome it's still amazing to this day big Keith got 4

Cleary has brought these players through to grade and many into the SOO team. Just a coincidence no doubt🙄

Griffin, Ciraldo or Barrett would have done the same. Those kids had been earmarked for years. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

Established premiership winning coaches have all either failed or struggled here. Sheens is undoubtedly one of the better coaches of his time, even he could only drag them to 3 series in ten seasons.

Cleary is a decent coach. He is no superstar, otherwise there would have been better than a 9th spot finish here.

Nope.... I remember that game.
Sheens was coach.... I thought we won it.

I'll double down - Ellis never played under Potter.
Gaz left with Sheens.

It's painful to say but Cleary is a good coach, no doubt. Scummy human for the state that he left the club in when he left, but a good coach. He managed to get the Warriors to the Grand Final (at our expense along the way) and his first run with the Panthers was crippled by injury.

Having said that, he is reaping the benefits of a system that was largely built by Gould so while a good coach, he isn't on the same level as Bellamy, Bennett or Robinson.

Yep. The tier below those names. The best of the rest.

Cleary was on the rise at WTs and gave me (and no doubt others) hope. On a strategic level he is right up there which I rate highly. Sheens on a strategic level is enormous and still is. We need these types at WTs.
