I think the real question is are the Tigers are going to stick with Noddy or give Morris or someone else a go.

I do find it ironic. Back in 2006 we were looking for a quality halfback to replace Scott Prince and John Morris was the underwhelming replacement.

16 years later it appears that history might repeat itself. We're replacing a very well credentialed coach. Most people seem to want Ciraldo or Payten but we might end up with Morris instead because they don't want to join.

I’m curious what other Halfbacks did we miss out on in 2006?

There is no way Noddy should be the HC long term.
Nice bloke but needs to put the assistant yards in first and develop.
His Press conferences are amateur hour and does not look confident.
He would need to win a game I would think to be considered and that doesn't look likely for a while.

I'm on the Morris wagon now unless Todd P was a chance as he seems to relate to players and thats most of the battle won these days.

100%. Only 17 HC gigs with all but a handful already occupied. Our club will be a challenge for sure but Sheens has already said it's a development role and the club doesn't expect quick results. Perfect job for the new clipboard-holder!
