Wests Tigers Coaches

If we Recruited two players in the mold of Gareth Ellis for next year, I wouldn't care if Humphrey Bear was the coach.
Gareth was WT greatest player ever, daylight second.
I've had time to chill so I admit the term "daylight" may have been extreme, but Gareth was a bit of a hero of mine.
Very humble, tough, talented and a true club man.
I wish our club could find another player like him.

Tragic you can chose to wallow in your misery, that is your choice. I prefer to view the very real improvements that are being made by the club especially the junior framework It is only a matter of time with the junior base we have and particularly the excellent work being done by Shannon Gallant, Troy Weedon and Fita Hala that WTs will emerges as a strong club again. Lambkin also has a strong history in talent identification and development at junior and senior level. No doubt Sheens is and has been working hard on this area of the club. Mathew Betsey's tour of the cubs to NZ has also been outstanding.

Wouldn't be any worse than the current situation.

No doubt the brains trust at WT couldn't have buggered this up any worse no matter how hard they tried and if Sheens Benji or Robbie are being viewed as potential coaches for any amount of time it just makes the fiasco 10x worse.
I am too old for the garbage that my club keeps on delivering. What i would like to see is someone who has no history at WT Balmain or the Magpies becoming the coach.A total clean sheet in regards to the club.

Go and check those "delusions" on two threads Junior Reps 2022 and Local Junior's Rapid Rise. See how our young players are performing in the ASSRL Competition at Redcliffe and how young Justin Matamua is making his debut in the NRL, a Campbelltown junior. Very real progress is being made Tragic, despite it not fitting the disaster you want to portray simply because your daemon got the flick.

Whoever gets job must be passionately enthusiastic about it and truly believe club can be turned around .Dont care about the name but must have fierce passion to tigers comeback
That person was sacked

Unfortunately no-one else wants the gig

Seems everyone we are interested in aren't interested in us

It's fine to spruik the great work of the Pathways program, but you can't forget that the same people were the ones who went away from Pathways and created this steaming pile of shit that we are currently in. So, were entrusting them to fix the mess they created.

Individuals learn from their mistakes and I believe WTs are on the right path. There is obviously some pain involved in the short term.

Have they learned though? The environment still appears toxic, Moses,Matterson,Aloiai, Leilua all seeking and receiving early releases. Nothing has really changed and nothing will for a few years yet. Missing the top half of a 16 team Comp, 11 years in a row is abysmal. And were no closer to improvement. I want this Club to prove me wrong every year, but it doesn't, it used to be "next year", were so poor, it's now "3 years and look out".
There's no accountability.
Why should we have to accept pain after 11 years of failure?

I see real change occurring from the junior level upward. I share your disappointment over past events. I want kids from the SW and IW to be proud to say WTs is their team.

All other judgements aside, and that's not easy for me, Sheens hasn't got a track record of knowing when and how to step away.
I know but don't think any good option out there at the moment other than Sheens. Kimmorely is not the answer.
Benji maybe as an assistant mentored by Sheens
