Wests Tigers Coaches

Most of us dont realise 10 years is short term. But if you add another 10 years that will make it 20 years, so arent we thinking a more longer time horizon?
Ciraldo was offered 5 years and Sheens mentioned the latest junior intake will take 3 years to mature to grade? In any case, with the Dolphins into the NRL competition for top juniors will be intense. We will have a huge advantage over teams such as the Roosters and Storm if we continue on this path with our huge junior base.

Many would be more inclined to agree with the notion that we should be looking at what we can do in the here and now, today, to improve the situation? The promise of juniors coming through seems meaningless if we demotivate them like we're doing to our current crop.
Do you think these promising juniors are not smart enough to see what's happening?

Sheens reputation may be the very handbrake on replacing the coach especially if he sees himself having some input in the position. The fact the candidates now being discussed have no FG coaching experience suggests (to me) that he intends to be involved without having all the responsibility.

What I wrote is that you can chose to be miserable or, you can look at the tangible improvements being made by the club in relation to our junior framework - identification, retention and development of juniors. Did you read those threads Tragic? It is a long term strategy implemented no doubt by the football dept headed by your nemesis.

We've had 3.5 years of disaster. It was always going to end in tears. Sheens and others are now attempting to remedy the situation. There are no quick fixes but I do like the fact our Cubs were showcased in NZ and our juniors are being showcased in Redcliffe. There are very positive signs emerging we are on the correct path.

Redcliffe will also be more so chasing something a bit more ready than the best kids

I think it will be a case of the Top juniors leaving for better teams.

Might only be out of desperation that they're discussing coaches without experience, maybe no experienced coaches want to touch the club.
