Exactly - Even with the Brooks story on him being dropped....
Came out like 2 days after we played - Weeks before we were playing again.

The Board, CEO and such would be so far removed from that conversation that early on it's impossible to fathom.
This one - Happened Tuesday - Was in the news Wednesday....

There's no way it's board... It's Noddy or Sheens....
And Sheens has no reason to white ant anyone.

What seems to be forgotten - Noddy has spent the last 10 years in and out of TV and Media.... And played for forever before that - Tell me he doesn't have some mates in and around it still.

Bit tough on Hastings mate,at least he showed leadership and if you go by stats handled the ball far more than the others ever did...he has a foot injury and keeps playing for the team,he has played what 14 games here compared to Brooks and AD...
When Hastings looks for support runners they are nowhere to be seen...and thats the problem not JH...

Maybe, but he is as accountable for our losses as much as any other player on the park if not more so cause he wears the 7. All 1st graders play with injury at some stage and if he isn’t well enough to play then AD should play in the halves. He had his pants pulled down from behind last weekend. he was slow before the injury.

give him a better team and he will most certainly get results but I would say that this applies to every halves combination in the sport, not just nrl.

my point is our problems are bigger than our 6 and 7

He needs Douiehi there so he can have more effective touches

Hastings is predictable because he’s slower than continental drift. A Hastings/Doueihi isn’t the long term solution. We can get by with one, only if we have a half who is a step up. alongside them. Preferably one with a bit of speed.

They're all off contract the exact same time as Munster - Why TF aren't we going for him???

I love that all these excuses (Valid no doubt) suddenly appear for Hastings
- That are the same issues in the same team Brooks has had to deal with his whole career.....

I've heard
- No decent players around him
- Gets swapped with the ball with no threats
- Fowards aren't doing their job
- Defences manning up for Hastings as the primary threat.
I could go on.

What rational human makes excuses for one guy in the same position while burying the other guy for being victim of the exact same circumstance.
News people - If you ain't copping it for the last bloke - there's no copping it for the new one....

My thoughts are he should be using them as motivation, suck it up and perform. Tigers players just seem to sulk rather than work harder.

I hope he comes out next and goes full barrels on the WT administration. Ask how they can’t sign any decent players to play with him and why they released guys who would go on to win all before them. I look forward to his book “the whipping boy”

No but these leaks specifically are about the possibility of being dropped, which is form-related.
