Ours is so precious we can’t even play with it until we are responsible

So we have jagged a star from Panthers and a weapon from Parra. Some of the best recruitment drives in history involve multi-player raids on clubs. You buy a culture. I’d be looking at some forwards at those two clubs who are either on the outer or not currently getting used properly. Nathan Brown, Ofahiki Ogden, Oregon Kaufusi, Spencer Leniu. Imagine adding all of them to our side 💪🏻💪🏻We’ve got potential talent coming through but we regularly lose these players to successful clubs or keep the ones who don’t really kick on. Benji and Farah are the only high calibre players that have come through our systems and stayed with the club and had success (respected across the league, rep honours). Hopefully that changes but we can’t live on hope alone. Api and Papalii are quality players but the rest of are side is either untried or average at best. I like your optimism and looking at the bright side outlook but if you take away the gloss we are running in quick sand.
We’ve had 8 months to do this…hopefully there’s been plenty of work behind the scenes. So we have jagged a star from Panthers and a weapon from Parra. Simple question but I have no idea other than we are losers. I'm probably considered a loser. I don't have a flashy car or house or clothes and I support a dud team so no offense to anyone.
I'd like to try and understand what is wrong. I have an unsubstantiated opinion that we have been for a long while operating on a reduced budget and that has led to us not being able to attract and retain quality players. I think without the cattle no team will ever be successful in any professional sport.
That was a cheap shot.I think it would be more constructive to say what's right with our club.
I'll start
Good post. That was a cheap shot.
I am simply disappointed by the incompetence that seems to be this clubs definition.
Many on this forum seem to be casting around for explanations about why we have been so average/bad for so long. If we just hire this prop, that coach, this center, that fullback etc etc etc we will find the end of the rainbow.
Others seem happy to trust in management that a positive change will suddenly appear like a rabbit out of a hat.
My only explanation is that the club doesn't seem able to stick to a plan,or follow a selected course to its finish. The club appears to me to be unstable at its core which then filters out to its extremities, the coach and players. Other than that I'm as confused as anyone.
I got no idea, but I'm not happy with what I'm seeing at the moment.
Geez Terry, half full of what.... I'll have some 🤣Maybe we’re looking at this the wrong way.
Could it be that we’ve actually been quite good,
in an era where every other club is rocketing along and fully cooking-with-gas? 🤔

Ok Lauren, I'll start.Better off starting out with what's right, then go from there.
What about I fixed home address1. Our board
2. Our CEO
3. Our Coach
4. Our Squad
What’s right
1. Our Brand
2. Our fan base
3. Our COE
I don’t rate that as big an issue cause a winning team will and/-or should win where ever they play but I think we should play out of Campbelltown and a few games at LO.What about I fixed home address
