I don't agree, I think Jacko played really well last night, had an equal if not superior hand in both of Nofas tries as he straightened up the attack to give Brooks the space for the 2 on 1. Also Jacko chipped for Laurie's try.

Brooks has had his opportunities at 7
Joffa is our best player, moving him would be a huge mistake.
The side would be weaker with these selections.

Expected that to start the season had Doueihi had not done his ACL
As long as he doesn't tarnish his legacy by playing well nxt year.

Johns also said he watched Brooks closely and he competed very well against the Eels. As for Doueihi, no NRL side imo will go into a new season relying on two established halves, one of whom has had a second ACL. Unfortunate, but the injury is serious and this is his second.
I have to agree with AD having a bad injury and time off to rehabilitate,however,I think he could play very well alongside Hastings...Jacko shows quality leadership skills,he has been good in the 7...Dont forget Hastings has been suspended and has been carrying a foot injury but still turns up every week,ok he makes an error sometimes but he has been here for 14 games,AD out for months and getting match fit again he will improve..
I dont really care about Johns opinion about Brooks having competed,so he should and at his best,he has had 11 years and big dollars in his favour...its unfortunate that some on here keep flying the Brooks banner...The ninensm news "likes and dislikes"of the weekend games made comments about Lukes poor game and have more or less said that AD will play 5/8 and Jacko at 7 ...we will see what happens,I reckon Brooks to 14 ..

No matter how much you like him- he isn't good and needs to go.
All fans have made up their minds about Brooks and some will consistently see any positive and focus on it, while others will pick out the negatives, the problem is as the highest paid player in the team he has the responsibility to perform at a level that justifies the salary - more so next season. He is not the reason we are where we are but his skill set also does not justify what we are paying him - just like Reynolds and Mybe before him. Brooks knows it and a decision by club/ Brooks needs to be made.

Brooks' "big dollars" is continually mentioned although no one including you can come up with a figure. You know why? That information is confidential as it should be but there are indications Brooks' contract was backdated to assist the club. The amount he is paid continues to climb on this forum as a reason to continually hit him over the head.
Let's face it TT, you were all in on Maguire with his slogans. After 3.5 years of crap it is refreshing to see the team compete like it did against the Eels. I have supporters from other clubs mention how good it was to see the WTs go well and gave it their all despite being outclassed. Specific mention of the props and lock hitting and running hard.
Did you miss the wins against Souths and Parra earlier this year when Madge was still the CONTRACTED COACH...but now we are magically competing well after 3 weeks....Stef has been out and Joffa has been our best all year,not just this month..
Keep coming up with the new slogans Paws,we have been outclassed for 12 years but apparently thats all on Madge as well...

Here's the issue TT, when supporters from other teams congratulate the WTs on their performance it is noteworthy. In addition (and I left it out in my earlier post due to your sensibilities about Maguire), it was also stated Maguire could never get the team to perform and comeback like they did against the Eels. Again, I did not say that but supporters of other clubs did.

The only way he plays for us past 2023 is if no one else wants him. He wants out, we want him out, it’ll happen.
I couldnt give a rats about other teams supporters they dont pay my membership...they are also the supporters who constantly call us a basket case because of the decisions this club makes...we all know Madge couldnt get the team to perform well when half the side was out injured and we played fringe players who did do well even though they got beat they competed well...

Madden is a dunce...
That's why he's still the half in the team coming second last in reserve grade.
If he was the god send he's made out to be here - Surely he would be absolutely tearing it up in Ressies, And that team would be killing it.
