Trying Ofahengaue (Our best player this year IMO) at Fullback - Will also be different, But it's just not the best option. Or the best player in the team in the best position for the team.

On the contrary - If everyone cared so much about the team,
They'd be happy to have the teams best centre (Doueihi) playing at centre...
Instead of the other nuffies.

You're basing this off over 180 games - compared to :
Maddens 6 or 7 games ?
Hastings few over this season - which prior t9 his injury was MUCH better than Brooks and
Adam who's barely had a season in the halves...

Do you see how silly that is ?

He's not good.
I don't even think He's better than Madden and he's a rookie.

That Joe O comparison is utterly ridiculous and not even in the same ballpark so nice try. AD easily outplayed Brooks in the halves last year and was viewed as the clubs best player by both his team mates and the media alike whilst playing at 5/8. It was widely considered nothing short of a joke that Brooks was named as the player of the year and there’s plenty of evidence to support it.

You want to condemn AD and deem him average for having a bad game in his first start since returning from a serious injury. But you do everything to defend a player who has not delivered anything in 9 years. That reeks of being a fan boy.

Mate luke brooks is shithouse & should be no where near the team, he lacks the basic IQ that a halfback whose spent 9 years playing first grade should have, he has been given chance after chance & still fails to deliver. Now the club are considering moving our best forward out of position so jacko can play 13 & brooks can continue playing in the halves even though time & time again he has failed. His lack of footy IQ was summed up perfectly when he kicks the ball on the 2nd tackle whilst we are a man down.... Any basic footballer would know whilst a player is sin binned you want to try & keep the ball in your hands as much as possible... not brooks.

Robbie was an origin hooker who was one of the best in his position & was in the end shafted out by the club to accommodate the likes of Brooks & how did that work out? I fail to see how you can say he's been going better than the other blokes when the other blokes haven't even got the chance to play because he keeps getting chosen.

I don’t think you know what a strawman is which isn’t surprising considering you just used another one and are evidently quite fond of them. Show me where I said that his fanboys think he is a superstar.

I said that they would rather make up every excuse under the sun to justify their support for a guy who has delivered nothing in 9 years rather than admit they backed the wrong horse. Arrogant stupidity.

Hastings has been playing every week. And if by others you are also referring to Madden, he isn’t even performing in reserves.

No - I'm basing that off watching them play Football (You might try it sometime)

Madden - Isn't even good in reserve grade... (He's just OK) Had 1 half decent game against the lowly dogs, The rest of the time he looks lost and gets in the way.
He may become a better half than Brooks, But he's miles off at the moment - Seems by the lack of interest in him, and the fact he can't get a spot in a team coming last
- I'm not the only one who doesn't rate him.

Hastings has been ordinary (Bar a couple games) all year - Most like the team in general.
He may do some things well, Talk etc. - He also does a lot of things poorly - Injured or not...
Maybe this has always been the case (Reason he went to the UK)
He's also been well worked out by oppositions now he has a few games and been riding Brooks coat tails since.
Even his glory chip everyone is happy to remind us about - It was Guthos shit take of it that we got results from... The kick itself was basically straight to the FB.
Furthermore, He was the flavour of the week when he came back and had a couple good games... But has barely been mentioned sine - Here: because no one wants to fess up to how poor he's been or in the Media: because he's been invisible out there... Happy to let Brooks do his job for him.
If he's injured - Sit it out. He's not contributing....

You could make an argument AD should have a crack at 6, Bar a shit cut out pass and his barge over (Centre or Back row play) he's got a long way to go...

I don't really care who the halves are - We're coming last... But those that will testify in court that Brooks is not amongst the best of our options are just over losing, Dumb or don't like the guy....

If we want to win, And want our best players on the field - Unfortunate as you may see it, He's one of them.

The point that the argument over which player should play on 3-4 Players who wouldn't start in most (If not all) teams in the comp in the positions being discussed is the real problem.

On the plus side, the room is closing in around brooks so it wont be long until the great punting. Then, the three weirdos can go clog up the Wigan Wombats or wherever Brooks gets a job, forum.

There’s no excuses. Just the claim that there are no better options available to the club atm. Like I said earlier though, if the club wants to go out and throw 1.3 million at a player like Munster, wonderful. You’ll see how quickly all these “fanboys” jump horses. Till then, he’s competing with Hastings and Doueihi, not Walters and Langer.

No it doesn't - He's the best half at the club....
Hastings or Madden aren't outplaying him.

Doueihi has been injured - May be a better option at 6 in the long term...
But he's not outplaying him either.

When they start playing better than Brooks, I'll start calling for them to take his position.
Until then - They best get a wriggle on.
 
Tigers are building Brooks value to get rid of him. It’s the smart play get him in some form and it will increase what Newcastle will pay him.
