Meh, good luck to Uncle Wayne and Gildart.
My guess though he will go straight to DEPTH if he doesn't add 10-15 kilo's.

Gildart was 100% wrong for us, we all knew we needed to get defense right and Gildart ain't that guy. Gildart would amount to zero here. Good luck with Wayne (who may make something of him? best of luck, don't really care).
We couldn't attract a decent proven centre, which we still desperately need,so he was worth a gamble...until u saw him up against the big boys in the NFL.. tiny
We have about 7 or 8 centres atm none of whom are genuine nrl proven...all marginal or over the hill.Wld swap any 3 of them for a herbie or that Storm guy from ng

@GNR4LIFE told me was trash in the pre season and he'd never succeed.

He was right...

He also told me the same about 27 other players in our squad... see how they turn out.
I don't think any of us would disagree that it's harder to pick who will succeed here than who wouldn't.

Media article pre season said nofa cldnnt lay a hand on Gildart starting from 10 mtr line..i was encouraged
But on reflection that applies to many I guess..?

I would back Nofo 20 mtrs out to beat the majority of fullbacks i can't say the same for Gildart in fact i can't think of any fullback he would beat

Another of the long list of dud signings we have made. Let's hope the 'new' coach isn't added to it.

I have no problems with this signing. He is good on his feet. The problem is his defense in the ESL was poor and it's poor here. He just isn't a big guy and defending in the centres is one of the hardest positions to defend in.

He might come good but I think he will always be a target to be run over the top of via bigger faster centres in the league.

Good luck to him.
