Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Personally like Joey Lussick (playing for St Helens)...great pass from DH...tough in the tackle and can play long minutes.... him and Simpkins would do well as a duo.
We're loaded for hookers.

I like the suggestion and the bench hooker is a thing these days.

Hoping Rua / Tannous take that role in the future.

Agree we don’t need anymore hookers on the roster

I hope that Rua will end up in the Halatau style player for us off the bench if he gets the body right. Run hard/straight, quick play the ball then shift.

People underestimate Dene’s impact on our run to GF glory but he was pivotal cog.

Halatau was / is the man.

Underrated talent.
Always played hard for us.

Could see Rua doing that role.

Big fan of Tannous too, as some one said last night... bit of x factor to him.

Good 2nd rower at St Helens which we should look at is Joe Batchelor.
Only problem he is 27 years old (185cm, 98KG) but he has a great motor and very decent 2nd rower.
The other would be Morgan Knowles (plays lock, 2nd row) who is a proper tough nut and would be outstanding in the NRL.
You have think about what you want to see in a Tigers DNA.
The other one would be pretty good is Tom Johnstone (winger) great potential and a very good match winner.

Sheens would be aware of these players?

Ueah
Is he playing in the same comp that made Dilfart an international centre?
Yeah he is, same Gareth Ellis did, Jamie Lyon, Tony Carroll… still had to put himself into position to score the tries, follow the play, still be instinctive, skill and speed. Nofo scores 4 against the Cook Islands and he’s a star.
Great to see him go well, still only 26, fullback, wing… We do lack serious speed or anything threatening.
Apologies being in Qld we don’t get to see a lot of the younger tigers, only what we read here from you guys. Is Liam scolari recovering from his acl injury? Is he the next wing prospect we have ?
There is a young dean mariner up here, unsigned by the broncos currently, this kid is good
