Just watched the highlights. A couple of tries down Triston Reilly's side again. Yet to see too much to get excited about. Hopefully a big NRL pre-season helps, and he turns it around. A 2 year Top 30 deal is a bit of a worry at this point.

In 2005, Sheens signed Jarrod Saffy and another guy from rugby whose name escapes me. He ended up playing NSW cup the whole time.

I'd like to see Aitasi James follow a similar path to Pole (Dev deal next year, top 30 2024). I think he'll be a quality prop in a few years. Already has more impact than Musgrove.

He did get 1 right with Tuiaki however he usually gets it terribly wrong

I’ve only seen him play 4-5 games but every one of those games he was a standout off the bench. I have not heard or read a bad report yet either. I hope he’s next to debut off the bench for firsts. Could be descent impact him and Pole.

With ball in hand he's been strong, he needs to work on his fitness and efforts in defence. He's a long way behind Pole in that regard

Does anyone know if he can play in top grade this season as he is only on a NSW Cup contract, not a Train & Trial contract? Possibly he can be upgraded if necessary.

Not sure Tristan should be mentioned in the same light.
