Surely it's clear to him that Parra themselves are about to start a rebuild. Sure they have a couple more pieces in their puzzle ready to go with a few origin players, but soon they'll have a bunch of new players, new coach and new gameplans.

Parra can't give him a new contract when the contract lodged by us has been accepted by the NRL. Though I do agree his manager is using our vulnerability and paranoia against us in the chance he can get something extra from us.
