I actually think Benji being coach is great. As potter said before - tigers are a political hot bed, I didn’t want to play that game, I just wanted to coach.

You have to spend a lot of the time balancing the people in charge.

Both Benji and Farah have had those board members wrapped around their finger since day 1!

Gus has repeatedly said Ciraldo isn't ready to coach the Bulldogs or Tigers, the Bulldogs have not spoken to Ciraldo, we haven't even discussed the coach for next year, we are taking our time, this is a weekly occurrence on 100% footy. Chammas gets blasted every week by Gus for making these stories up

Weidler didn't get invited to the WT luncheon with media.

It’s lucky for new Tigers coach Tim Sheens and the club that he is a News Corp-endorsed appointment, otherwise some serious questions from that media group may be asked. Like, who will be the club’s new head of football? Because logically, there is no way that a club as chaotic as the Tigers could expect someone to do both jobs.

However, I checked with Sheens on Saturday and he feels he can be head coach and head of football as well. Just two weeks ago, Sheens’ position as the top Tiger was viewed as all-important; the key to turning the club around. It was a full-time gig: pathways boss, roster manager and in charge of the salary cap. That role was considered key to lifting the club out of its awful on-field situation. Sheens thinks he can do it with football operations recruitment manager Warren McDonnell and football operations assistant and facilities manager Billy Callaway riding shotgun.
