Canterbury’s attack coach. Grand.
To be fair - I'd probably back the Dogs defence over ours...
They'd be garbage but really digging in on D.
Just lacking in key areas...

Canterbury’s attack coach. Grand.
Weidler nonsense aside, this is a bit concerning for me.Weidler didn't get invited to the WT luncheon with media.
It’s lucky for new Tigers coach Tim Sheens and the club that he is a News Corp-endorsed appointment, otherwise some serious questions from that media group may be asked. Like, who will be the club’s new head of football? Because logically, there is no way that a club as chaotic as the Tigers could expect someone to do both jobs.
However, I checked with Sheens on Saturday and he feels he can be head coach and head of football as well. Just two weeks ago, Sheens’ position as the top Tiger was viewed as all-important; the key to turning the club around. It was a full-time gig: pathways boss, roster manager and in charge of the salary cap. That role was considered key to lifting the club out of its awful on-field situation. Sheens thinks he can do it with football operations recruitment manager Warren McDonnell and football operations assistant and facilities manager Billy Callaway riding shotgun.
So why can't Ben Gardiner take over as coach?
That sucks. How stupid are the club for not retaining his services.
If we need to be completely honest, Gardiner should have been given the interim role, not Kimmorley. Look what he did with an inferior team last year in reggies. The players respect and enjoy playing for him. I don't think there's any coincidence with how well they played today with him in charge.
That is so disappointing. He will definitely be picked up somewhere. That sucks. How stupid are the club for not retaining his services.
Let’s not get caught up in the emotions of yesterday. It’s been a horrible period for the club. What has he achieved? That sucks. How stupid are the club for not retaining his services.
I'd actually prefer someone who's already worked in the lower grades and with the NRL playing group, than Benji tbh. Nothing to do with yesterday.Let’s not get caught up in the emotions of yesterday. It’s been a horrible period for the club. What has he achieved?
success isn’t coming for this playing group imo. Fresh faces needed everywhereI'd actually prefer someone who's already worked in the lower grades and with the NRL playing group, than Benji tbh. Nothing to do with yesterday.
I just think Marshall has more chance of attracting better players and that’s why he got the gig. Gardiner seems like a lovely chap but you don’t get points for nice in the NRL.Wasn't implying that.
Believe it or not there were people on here that didnt want Ben anywhere near the place , he has a great record in lower grades and is genuinely a good blokeThat is so disappointing. He will definitely be picked up somewhere.
I'd have probably taken Pascoe ahead of Kimmorley. If we need to be completely honest, Gardiner should have been given the interim role, not Kimmorley. Look what he did with an inferior team last year in reggies. The players respect and enjoy playing for him. I don't think there's any coincidence with how well they played today with him in charge.
This shouldn't even make the media. Bloody hell.
Hope he's trying to line up the likes of CHN and Tapine etc., Wonder when Koloamatangi is off contract?I just think Marshall has more chance of attracting better players and that’s why he got the gig. Gardiner seems like a lovely chap but you don’t get points for nice in the NRL.
