Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Schuster has talent but at the moment he looks overweight and uninterested.

He should stay in forwards as a ball playing lock.

Not really the player WT need to succeed.

Hope he doesn't end up like Owen Craigie (so much talent and rated a better junior in Newcastle than Andrew Johns but could not keep his weight down). Should have been a super star of the game.

While attending Hamilton St. Francis Xavier, Craigie played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 1994, 1995 and 1996. He is the only player to make the team three years running. Danny Buderus described him as, "the most freakish talent I came across in my junior days."

The only "staines" a WT player will see is Nofo once Bellamy gets stuck into him for not staying on his wing. (LOL)

I don’t see any downside to the nofo loan he clearly has an attitude issue and of any 1 can fix that it’s craige Bellamy. Tim sheens clearly has a plan here if we get back a fit focused nofo next year it’s a huge plus for us

I just don't understand all this so called lending players?.Please why should we help the storm out, or any club ...really, tough luck to them, we have our own issues to be concerned about so why bother with theirs.JOKE.
As i understand he is signed by the Wests Tigers, that's it not to be loaned out, if he is not wanted by the Wests Tigers, then release him otherwise he should stay here.

But if this loan benefits us and we get a better player back after been there why not go through with it? There is no way the tigers are sitting there going oh god poor storm are in trouble they have so many injuries we have to help them out. They are going this is an opportunity to give a player we have contracted long term experience at at far superior club and gain skills that will benefit from in the long run. I guarantee nofo comes back a better player next year with finals experience

I don’t believe our halves trust them. A. They’re leaving and B. They mostly just plod. Prime example Kelma clearly over ran Brooks on that pass meaning the only option was to hit him low on the right hip and the rest was history. Should not have passed it but probably won’t next time.
Kelma was running the decoy. Brooks went short when he should have gone deep.

Bang on. That, with Mikaele's early release, would be somewhere in the vicinity of 250k that we have recouped that can be used to front load for next year.

So, even if Brooks is on the 1 mill for next year, he will effectively be on 750k now, if the club choose to go that way.
Vicinity of 500k...

I agree, he was hitting him for meters all day I can’t understand at that instance why he over ran him.
Brooks could of hit Laurie with the shift ball but the play was to continue making that edge work on Kelma.
To be fair yes bad pass. But it would of been a worse pass if he threw it to where Kelma was as it clearly would of been forward. Kelma effectively took himself out of the play when he clearly was supposed to be in it.

Fox Sports.

Ben Gardiner, who is the Tigers current assistant and stood in as head coach on Sunday, has reportedly been informed his services won’t be required in 2023.
At first I was upset to hear this then I thought stuff it the people who have been here for last 4 years haven’t got the job done it’s time to move in

Good luck to him in the future he did coach very well in Reggie’s hopefully he gets another gig
