Yes sounds a bit paranoid. If people are knifing him behind his back, I am sure they are just all going to fess up because he asked them! Happens all the time in a work place, plenty of assholes where I work, nothing better telling them what u think of them. I find that they take it extremely well and u end up having a harmonious friendship for ever and call each other up every night to say how much u missed them. NOT
