- people got angry that people that attended at WT event had to pay 70 dollars. The people that got angry did not attend the event themselves.

- someone who went to the event said they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and spoke to Kelma who mentioned he has not signed a contract with Manly.

I think Brooks will still be here next year .If you can get a super high
$1 mill ++ deal no one's will want to pick that up and conversely the tigers are not going to want the embarrassment of paying $500k+ to have him play elsewhere . The sheer size of the contract is a sort of protection
What worries me is -Are there any top class players out there who want to come to the Tigers ? Not counting washed up guys who are over the hill and can't get contract extensions .

Letting Paps walk out on his deal would be a terrible mistake and send the wrong message to other players who sign contracts with WT. Sign with WT, leverage a better deal with your present club or someone else and then whine about wanting out.
