Noddy needs to fire up

Ref was shocking tonight. Even the challenge we lost should have been reversed. He barely got a call right and not being able to see that shocking tackle was the culmination of his incompetence. Honestly, we barely got a 50/50 call.
Musgrove’s try was a lucky decision. Might not have got that one but for the fiasco last week.

The silly thing was Musgrove didn’t need to promote the ball as his momentum would have carried him over anyway.

Yeah he and JT covered it well, without going over the top... feel they got their point across. Deserves at least two weeks... at least

Huge congrats to Noddy on his 1st win as interim coach. Took a while for the team to move past the previous game plans and tactics that have been there for a few years but there’s a lot more freedom and confidence in players in recent weeks.

We all remember the look of excitement and joy Noddy had when Sheens announced his caretaker role for a 12 game period.
Now, with the sobering realisation that only reality can provide his dream of eventually becoming a head coach is possibly gone. Poor Noddy, looks wasted, looks like he hasn’t slept since taking on the job.
I feel for Noddy, I hope the club look after him.

I hope so to. If he is not burned out put him back in charge of the Women Tigers side.
He will be great there....

Yes I think he would be great with the women’s side, but why wouldn’t he be better suited to return to his old job of head of pathways?

Noddy speaks honestly, no “ebbs and flows”. He gives some insight into what is actually going on. He has said he has learned a lot in the last couple of months and first grade coaching is tough. You are on 24/7. In Noddy’s case, he also has to deal with the despondency of reality. He does look tired and like he has aged a few years since he took on the role. Last weekend probably aged him another 5 years. I recall Madge had that same look. He now has to carry an historic record no one would want in their career. Hopefully it makes him a better coach.
