If I was him I would have been tempted to split with a sore foot Russel Packer style, or even get the old wire cutters out at FT ala the great Roberto, escape artist extrordinaire

Well that is the guys nature, at present. He was thrown in at the deep end and had a terrible injury toll, so any future roles must take that into account.Noddy speaks honestly, no “ebbs and flows”. He gives some insight into what is actually going on. He has said he has learned a lot in the last couple of months and first grade coaching is tough. You are on 24/7. In Noddy’s case, he also has to deal with the despondency of reality. He does look tired and like he has aged a few years since he took on the role. Last weekend probably aged him another 5 years. I recall Madge had that same look. He now has to carry an historic record no one would want in their career. Hopefully it makes him a better coach.
😂 that must be a pretty old saying? Never heard it before 😂Well that is the guys nature, at present. He was thrown in at the deep end and had a terrible injury toll, so any future roles must take that into account.
But the old saying “ if you don’t know the difference between s..t and ice cream, you’ll never enjoy ice cream “ certainly applies.
I hope his loyalty is rewarded within our club at some level, but then again, he may not want to go backwards and look for an assistant role outside.
Yep, it’s a golden oldie 20/40, just like me !😂 that must be a pretty old saying? Never heard it before 😂
You’re absolutely right though.. I was going to say, ‘ you don’t know you’ve been short sheeted until you climb into bed,’ but something tells me , as you put it recently, Noddy’s exposure to NRL coaching can equip him better on his return to pathways development.
So it’s more like ‘if you don’t know where they’re going, how can you give clear directions?’
Maps are great but if you don’t know where you are, and where you’re going, they are useless.Yep, it’s a golden oldie 20/40, just like me !
Agree Halbrown61, its also very important for the club to identify those employees in the organisation who have a direct influence on each other and direct lines of communication. These links within the organisation can be strengthened by a clear understanding of each of those positions which interact and their related tasks and responsibilities. Its a lot like a footy team. The best way to understand a job is to do it. Then when you go back to your job it becomes easier.Maps are great but if you don’t know where you are, and where you’re going, they are useless.
