Isaiah Papali’i #265

zzzzzz...... Close the thread, he's here Nov. 1.
I agree that technically he should be on our payroll from November 1, but he will probably be playing in the World cup and as a result probably won't be joining us for preseason training until the New Year.

Would much prefer it if there wasn't such a time lag before he is due to come to us, giving his manager time to agitate and god knows who getting in his ear and corrupting him.

Not saying that he will try and wriggle out of his contract but all I can say is that we better stand firm on this one and make sure that this contract is honoured or we will once again be the laughing stock of the NRL.

At the first sign of any resistance we need to stand firm and I would rather see him sit out 3 years than have Parramatta or anyone else take him off us.

I still can't get over the fact that Api Koroisau is coming here. Doesn't feel real.
I was talking to my mate yesterday, a cronulla supporter, he said he was at a function recently and spoke with Ivan, he asked Ivan who he thinks is the most important person in his team. Cleary said " Korosai, he creates deception and space for the halves from dummy half, he can sum up a situation faster than any other player he has coached before."

Very quietly become the best hooker in the game of late...
Penrith are paying him 400odd....

Crazy cheap!!

yeah arguably the form hooker in the comp atm
And we get him at 30, still with a few years to play. A great signing, as was Papali’i, who is at the beginning of his career.
This shows that top shelf players will come if we have a well balanced cap. Sheens said these were Madge’s signings, if so it’s a pity he’s not around to hand them their jerseys.

If he keeps cutting players in half, it won’t be long before he earns double.
imagine how good this champion will get himself and the WT going.

Great to hear, but he's hardly going to say his own son ;)
