Unlimited high speed NBN with Foxtel UHD/HD IQ5 - way to go. You use to have to pay for additional box in bedrooms but now IQ5 wi-fi works at no extra charge. A no mess, quick set up/package.
The only other streaming I have is Stan for Rugby and other sports+movies.

What do you pay for your Foxtel?

I'm not willing to pay a lot of money when all I want is the Rugby League and I cancel the service during the off season.

Last season I got a bargain with Kayo for $5 a month, which I thought was going to be $15 but because I had 2 mobile services with Telstra they gave it to me for $5.

This season I have it for $15 a month and my daughter gets the benefit of using it and I get Netflix and Spotify with the family plans that she subscribes to.

Next season if they want me to pay the full $25 a month I will probably move my 2 mobile services to TPG or ALDI or somewhere cheap because now that I am retired I don't really need the remote area coverage that Telstra provided when I was working FIFO driving Iron Ore trains in the Pilbara.

  • Kayo ad breaks are total crap. what is it with these ad breaks, they drive me crazy. and . . . . . .
  • when you are watching a show or a game and it starts going into the next show or game that you want to watch, about half a minute into it, it just stops. You then have to exit and fumble around trying to find that show or game which is no where to be found so half the time you have to exit Kayo and then go back in before you find that game or show and by the time you have done that you have missed 2 or 3 minutes, so you have to go back to catch what you missed. Infuriating.
  • Oh, I forgot, there is more. When you watch a show on Kayo (usually happens with a replay I think) and it just ends before the actual end of the show.

And if you’re watching it delayed by half an hour so you can skip ahead through the BS and half time, then bump the stats button and it brings up the full time score!
This happened during the cowgirls game and I saw we won at full time. I should’ve won 2k on that game, promised the mrs dinner at the bone, and then refs raped us again. My butthole is still sore.

When we were getting Cooked a few ashes back, the outlaws left a week early. It was a few days into a good Cooking and I was throwing shit at the tv, and they’d had enough of me spitting the dummy so they made the 5 hour drive home. When I say throwing shit at the tv I mean it; remote, beer bottles, fist, you name it. When punter lost the ashes in England I clean knock the tv out, 2am in the morning. I am best left alone when losing, not a fan.

What about 2005 and punter had the bowlers bouncing the number 11 for around 12 overs and just needing 1 wicket just keep it simple on the stumps

Don't know really, I don't really care about money which is morally wrong I know. I get unlimited NBN through foxtel, separate gateway 100mb/s which is awesome if your watching 2 uhd/hd programs at the same time (bedroom and loungeroom) for $75mth and foxtel hd/uhd sport plus basic $59 and stan hd sports+movies $29
I think this is right.
If your on a budget then go the cheaper inferior kayo I guess.
I just found kayo fiddly and lagged.

When you order Crème Brûlée but the Patissier goes slightly heavy on the sugar and the caramel crust is too damn hard. Gets me every time.

That and pedestrians that stop at zebra crossings and look before walking on the road. Grow a set and take a chance. You're not gunna live for ever anyways. Why make me wait any longer than i have to.

It annoyed me to read Patrick Carrigan's apologies in the media..
The ones I read has him saying sorry to his team mates, the club and the supporters for letting them down.....no mention of poor old Jackson Hastings.
Whilst I'm talking about players lack of respect to other players, the incident involving JWH forearm to another player's head, practically squeezing his brains out,
then at full time he pulled the same guy aside as if to say "I haven't finished talking to you yet"
Arrogance, sheer arrogance and he got off with a fine. He attacked the head of a defensless player.
One more while I'm on a roll.
Nelson breaking the players teeth....not enough evidence to say he attacked the head....pleeeaasse.
Same player who kneed DWZ and put him him into Disneyland and showed no concern for him.
Nathan Clearey should have been rubbed out for the year. Whats worse, breaking someone's leg or killing or seriously paralyzing someone.
I'm devastated that JH is out for the year but the spear tackle is potentially life threatening and if the sentences are the same then the system sucks.
