Adam Doueihi #227

Not really

Maumalo had interest and come out and Said he's focus is the Tigers.

AD Said would be keen but contracted to Tigers.

I get where paws coming from.
Did you watch the interview?

The club were not keen.

He said it couldve been good to learn under Bellamy but with him returning from injury it wasn't even explored and he is comfortable with that.

All context.

Wasn't Brooks close to the best player on the field that day? Mmm still not good enough for you.

Your grievance previously was that Sheens should get the same amount of time Madge received despite everyone knowing he is here for a fixed period of time to mentor Marshall.
The same game he also threw a pass into Kelma’s back resulting in a another try?

You do remember Sheens suing the club when we sacked him prior to his “fixed period of time” last time right?

The issue most people have with you Paws is while others will call out any player who underperforms, you have very clear bias towards Brooks and Sheens.

I rate Doueihi but some of his defensive efforts were horrible yesterday. I can say that without bias, the same way as I’ll call Brooks or Hastings out when they should do better.

He addressed it perfectly respectful to Melbourne for the opportunity and respectful of the clubs decision. Despite a very ordinary performance yesterday he appears to be stand up young man with some ambition.

Yeah, agree.

6 games back after a serious injury.
He isn't changing our fortunes.

(Aware excuses won't last forever, for the fact checkers.)

AD did nothing last year I don't see where the evidence is that he'll start turning things around for us.

The reality is Jakob Arthur would do a better job.

Sheens is here as coach for two years to mentor Marshall after the failure of your favourite Maguire. The club is happy to engage him as Football Director and Coach so is your comment about whatever action he took meant to obfuscate?

I am not having an interchange of posts on Brooks. There is enough written about him on other threads.

I can explain this to you...

After years of having actors pretending to be footballers in our jersey, such as Mbye...

When we have players like AD & Hastings jump on the scene who appear ultimate competitors, wearing their hearts on their sleeve and playing with passion..... it gives the fans hope.

Too long we've been a soft touch.
It finally appears we've TRYING to move away from that kind of image.

Bringing in guns like Papalii and Korosau, persisting with a hard player like Seyfarth and debuting young guns like Pole and Matamua and awarding long serving workhorses like Freebairn.

Sheens, Robbie and Benji in the control centre.
I truly believe we're working to move away from the easy beats image we've built.

I am glad you mentioned Seyfarth. He played well again yesterday. Koriseau will also assist the halves in steering the team around the park as he did for the Panthers against the Raiders.

Mate AD was not an ultimate competitor in that first half.

Had lots of games that were similar last year

Seyf cops it bad on here....

He's still green in the game.
He could really become an enforcer on field for us.

He's had good games back to back imo.
Truly believe he'll only get better.

No doubt bra.

He's been hot and cold throughout games since returning , I've noticed it as well.

Weak first half and decent second halves.

Left it too late for a comeback yesterday though.

I wouldn't expect much for the remaining few games.

We need a BIG off season from our lads and hopefully some further recruitment.

So do I. It wasn't that bad but it wasn't great.

I still think he is our best attacking player but he has so many bad moments in his game.

He didn't state I want to stay at the Tigers and we need to start building to a better team as he has in the past.

I'm a bit frustrated with Doueihi.
