Yea like it was alright for us to break Madges contract and telling him he's finished, but when the shoe is on the other foot people blow up.

Then why did PAPPI sign.

Madge would have still been paid out, and yes we sacked him.

PAPPI signed a 3 year contract in Nov or Dec of 2021 starting Nov of 2022 & finish At seasons end in 2025.

You would think that if he backfliped we would have grounds for substantial compensation on the grounds we have allowed one Backrower walk and have not tried to re sign two others, based on him coming.

Really unless Our club rolls over he has zero out. He can claim what ever he likes, the Madge thing, mental health you name it. Brooks gets the long service discount so that cuts any negotiated salary for 2024 and beyond down by 200k
Key is Signing Hastings we can't afford to lose him.
Brooks on say 750k 2024 and 2025 is really only 550k
You then use the money saved there to go after Dylan Brown.

Brad Arthur's role in all of this has only confirmed the dubious character that he is.
Fronting the media on a couple of occasions to validate this 'backflip' is very poor. Unfortunately it speaks to the workd we live in these days.

Don't know if we can pull that card unfortunately? They were players we either couldn't keep or didn't want.
