Isaiah Papali’i #265

the more this goes on and the longer he doesn't want to be here and play us for fools I couldn't care if he stays or leaves. Screw him why keep a player that will put half assed performances we can use his money on a replacement.
the worst thing we could do is let papa back flip it will show how much of a shithole this club is at now which make more top tier players stay away from are club

Filter also said if Papalii comes to the Tigers and sulks next year then he will make a fool of himself so see what that does for his reputation going forward.
Not to mention reducing his value to other clubs. Trashing your own reputation just ain't good business!

Jimmy Tamou seems to be easily led by reporters when giving answers, wouldn’t hate on him for it.
Papalii seems very naive in front of the camera and looks like he’s trying to remember what cliche he was told to say when asked a certain question.

Kent is a Fken idiot
- It's an NRL Contract!!

It's not a WT's contract.... It's the governing bodies contract...
If he bails - It their contract he's shitting on!!

Its a Contract with the Wests Tigers not the NRL. It has to be registered by the NRL but it is a Conract between the player and Wests Tigers.

if the players were Contracted to the NRL, there would be a draft.

sometimes its better to let an unhappy player leave rather than let them stay its up to the coaching staff to sell the vision.
Tiger's already have let players leave who weren't happy, now those players are in papaliis ear, and moses and matterson also had a couple more years to go on their contracts, has it worked for tiger's releasing them, no, keep them in reserve grade from now on cause when the contract expires no club will sign them.

He’s not even here yet and he’s unhappy 😂. No doubt in my mind he never wanted to leave Parra to begin with. He’s become a better player there no doubt. They didn’t have the cash at the time and now they do, but the deal’s been done.

Tigers should be speaking with iPap and explaining to him that his statements appear non-committal and bringing more media stress on the club through no fault of our own, considering they’ve already agreed on a great contract that has been signed for a long time.

If he wants the opportunity to return to Parra, he will have it in 3yrs but until then we expect him to be a man of his word.

I’ve said it before, but if he continues the NRL should step in. This to me is a form of bringing the game and our club into disrepute by openly making statements that could allude to trying to break a contract. If the NRL want to have this stupid system of signing players 12months out, then they need to back it their system and stop players from trying to wiggle out of their contracts.

A mid season trade window and end of season signing period should be the only periods can move clubs.

That’s right, and and the key to running a successful club is knowing when that time is. Knowing when you can and can’t sell the vision.
