Benny's mum ran on the check on him when he was covered in blood. He got a kiss and they both had blood all over their faces.
I remember thinking at the time that it was such an act and I felt ashamed to be a blues fan, it was sooo over the top.
It was at the end of NSW 14-6 win of game 1 1992.
Benny hasn't changed, he still is a drama queen but one of the best hookers of all time.

Actually arched over the coffee table ,on iPad, watching not really, Sunrise news on 7. Floating and punching above my weight.
 
I personally think API has the know how power to lead us to the finals, 2 more good signings and he’s set. How long till we see Api get us there?

The good thing about the API and IPap signings is , you don’t mess with them.
Very smart recruitment by the WT. We lacked leadership, but not anymore. Just these guys alone will attract good recruits to the club. Benji is slowly being integrated as coach as not to cause uproar when it does happen

he also won a grand final, played origin and for Australia. He was a good hooker and aspects of his game were replicated by others during and after he finished playing (with varying degrees of success). I would say he was influential.

both fantastic in their position - But not leaders.... Not on field anyhow.

I watched enough of both to establish an opinion....
You obviously got yours from the highlight reels.

What’s the SG Ball story bat ?
Im racking my grey matter to remember, I’m sure he was in the Balmain Ball side - he definitely starred in the Flegg side. Balmain and Wests had some great clashes back during those years.
