Tim is a master at looking intelligent and in control in the coaches box.
I'm hopeful we'll adopt a more entertaining style of footy over the next few years and optimistic about this but I think many recognise we're still missing a lot of the basic requirements or fundamentals of a professional or competitive NRL squad.
It's really at a poor standard in comparison to others.
There's no go forward, zero X factor and creativity. Our best game manager is currently injured and being used at lock, while the half with the most skills and experience lacks confidence/composure. Our backs are slow, barely compete or chase and our defence is sub par.
Every team seems to have someone who can turn a game on its head and are capable of gaining second wind but we're often lethargic and flat after a high performing game.
It's hard to find a winning formula and the number of ongoing changes/injuries means we've never really been able to build cohesion.
Korisau and Papalii will be great additions but there's still a lot of weaknesses with this roster and rational concerns we can't find other recruits that will boost them.
Fingers crossed we somehow land a few great signings in the offseason.

I Dont understand
how he has not even started his coaching yet, and he is already copping shit, from people.
lets wait till round one is over next year, then we can boo him or cheer him, and I know you will hope we loose so you will be proven right.

There is quite a list of $800 -$960 players don't think I got them all and point was most of this list didn't make run on side very often . I was pointing out peachy as an exception at $375 pa not much at time for a former SOO player
so a $500 that played Ist grade regularly was not in same category

Maybe they thinks clubs like us and the Dragons are the only teams that can survive long term in the cellar and clubs like the Chooks and the Storm would go belly up if they had a extended time in the cellar due lack of interest. Just my cynical slant on things

The NRL has a shiny new toy for next year at Redcliffe. Existing foundation clubs aren’t the priority.

Well someone added to my argument about East & the salary cap, they posted that East have resigned Crighton for $450000 after he was asking them for $800000 but he like numerous players before him, they are willing to throw their retirement money into the Nick Politis charity box, my argument here would have been, if we have signed PAPPI for $630000 per season, we would have at least offered CRIGHTON $550000, BUT WHY WOULD HE WANT ANOTHER $100000 TO PLAY WITH ANOTHER TEAM.

The only comments attributed to Sheens in last 2 months is that Papalii will honour his contract and that he has plenty in the pipeline
Well if there is really plenty in the pipeline how come we seem to be the only club with no signings or at least rumours of signings .The media circus only needs the slightest of whispers to have a story to write but in our case silence no whispers .I find that a bit scary

There used to be complaints that we were a leaky ship to the media. Now there is complaining we don’t hear anything!
Sheens was telling the truth about papalli could there be a possibility that we have something on the pipeline to announced after Nov 1 and we have stopped the leaks?
