Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

From our current top 30,

Luke Garner (Penrith)
Oliver Gildart - will he return ?
Nofo - will he return ?
Kelma (Manly)
Junior Pauga - will he be retained ? I'd say no.
Tyrone Peachy - told to explore options.
Tuki - may be released ?

A lot of questions but more importantly a LOT of OUTS.

William Kei - Gone. RMC player.
Jock Madden - Unsure where his future will be.
James Roberts - hopefully no contract offered moving forward.
Tommy Talau - hopefully the club offers T&T or one year deal or something.
James Tamou - likely retires.

Anyone see different ?
I guess Madden depends on Brooks and Tommy T depends on available roster spots.

I think our biggest challenge will be getting takers for a few contracts we want to offload in order to create space

MY OPINION
As a modern club and before that to an extent, both parent clubs have had no problems with producing spine players, coming through and having a career here or elsewhere. This amazes me.
We are renowned for a flashy style team, Entertaining but risky.
The problem has been producing players from outside the spine. The last real deal was S Dwyer and he got cut short.
The club I think needs to really look at this.
We always seem to be recruiting.
Come on WT pay attention to all details.
Do you agree or disagree ?

The loan players will only come back if Benji sees value.

Got to agree with a few posters here, after Nov 1 we will see what occurs, or after teams get eliminated from the semi finals.

Again for me - Preston Riki (panthers) and Solomona Fa’tappae (brisbane tigers).

Even stalked benj on Instagram with my list of possibles. Haha maybe I need a life, but as supporter and fan for over 35 years, I can’t help but give a crap.

Love for the tigers to affiliate with a Qld cup team. Melbourne, broncos have great success with it.

And therein lies our problem. I dont give a shit what they do off the field (barring the obvious limit), if theyre good football players you attempt to sign them. This club is too worried about its image and how the kids perceive it
Our image is shit anyway. May as well win some games at least.

Was mentioned a few pages back that Sharks appear to be new cap wizards - they have a big test come November 1 they have Will Kennedy, Sione Katoa, Ronaldo Mulitalo, Jesse Ramien and Siosifa Talakai up for grabs -
I’m stumped on this one, honestly I have no answers, how is this possible, only we in the past would do something like that.

You have a life and love the WT. There is no shortage of stupid things to do.

Does any 1 have any info on what the club thinks of Jackson Hastings are they trying to extend this bloke? We need to lock him up asap

The attitude I get, young blokes get big headed when they are rated. The limited ability I don’t get as members on here were saying he was a certain first grader.
Probably never saw him play.

He's Stefano's best mate.

I think some media outlets also had him pencilled in to start the year in grade.

Does a lot of talking on field but not much else.
Harmless.
