I'm not sure. Burton has a lot of good attributes, but I have never seen him throw a great ball to put his outside man away, either short it long. I'm not sure he has that ball playing creativity of top line 5/8's.

I must be the only one who thinks Burton still hasnt proven much as a 5/8, great boot, ok running game but thats it. His club is still 6 wins from 21 games and just got belted by the warrios. Sure hes ok, but $800k+ is insane IMO.

The media hype over him is ridiculous. If you want a young half Ezra Mann is a much all round betbetter player then him and 3 years younger.

Your not reading all the posts then. A few of us question Burton as a 5/8

Burton and Carrigan are two of the biggest grubs who have virtually walked away scot-free for the shocking long term injuries that they have caused on two of our valuable players, the injuries weren't accidental they were well and truly intentional.
And i'm sure that their punishments would have been much greater if they were wearing a WT jersey.
