I know they are a frustrating lot but unfortunately this is what I think the NRL want us tigers supporters to do abandon our team. I have said many times that the NRL do not want us in the comp. We need to hang tough and not play into there hands by abandoning memberships

It’s a test if loyalty LL and no NRL is going to stop us supporting the mighty black, white and orange.

Apparently the Dogs have been trying to offload Pangai Jr for months now
He is exactly what we need for next year with Papali’i. I say he is worth the gamble if the dogs pay a good slice of his wage.

A backrow of Paps, Martin and Hastings is all class, but lacks serious size. That would be the smallest backrow in the comp. We would need 4 monster front rowers, yet only have one.

A Payne Hass and Stefano Utoikamanu front row partnership could fix that problem…

with Api leading our pack through the middle, would be special and should be considered

Like many 60,s flower power teens basically 2 types of music Beatles Stones etc and Dylan Peter Paul &Mary . I loved the animals the who yardbirds so many

I liked those groups but was a bit more of a Led Zeppelin kinda guy.
My hangs included Harpoon Harry’s, Texas Tavern, Bondi Lifesaver, Manly Vale hotel etc especially after a few warm ups at the El Rancho in North Ryde.
Ah the memories of those great days !

Every time I see this guys face it reminds me of the ageing pop star in Love Actually !

I think he’s O.K actually and I poke fun at him for kindness sake.

Everyone else on the board is a corporate candy store popper or old crusty matey boy.

As frightening as he looks, he’s the closest to us in terms of representing the basic humanity of the Wests Tigers in the whole joint.

He has as much of an idea as we do about what is going on.

Without his fat directors fees, our Mr Burgess looks unemployable and would probably starve. At least in his case, our fees are being used for a good cause.

Not buying Pascoe another solar powered Lamborghini or paying for his French hairdresser to fly over.

I heard times got tough for our beloved Mr Burgess when the live music industry collapsed and he couldn’t pretend to be a roadie and steal other bands equipment.

I hear he’s a good bloke in person. I hope to join him in mugging a passer by one day. Hopefully a Rooster or a Panther player.

Don''t jump too early. Money talks for a lot of players.

I'd go further and say it's all about the money unless...
I read an article about 4 year ago about player managers.
Not only does a good manager get top dollar but the good ones map out the players career.
The perception that a player goes to a new club for less money as being bullshite is not always correct.
Things like career progression...rep games, preferred playing position, coaching influence, location, lifestyle, family, future money upgrade, time in position. There were more but that's all that come to mind.
The big factor is 💰
Most players, unless marquee, are not in the game for long. The lesser players seem to take the best dollar on offer and longer term for security.
I would love to be a fly on the wall listening to managers and clubs during the interview process.
How good a manager would you be if you new what both clubs are thinking and what they are prepared to offer as a max. 🤔
