Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

best of luck to Jock. I see him in the mould of a Sean O'Sullivan or Drew Hutchison and will do well at Penrith. unfortunately he was chasing regular first grade time and it's clear we're invested in Doueihi, Brooks and Hastings.

Kade Hill seems to be highly rated by the club. interested to see how he fares in Cup next year after a big pre-season. further back the Conti brothers and Alex Isdale are our prospects at 7. will be interesting to see who the club backs long term.

I'd say at a guess that Sheen's work this year is behind the scenes, not in the public forum, and all about next season and beyond.
I am hoping he works on their attitudes and Grit as much as on skills.

We have been week and should off / could have won at least 6 more games this year if we were simply tougher when the momentum was against us during a game.

Its what the QLDers say. Absorb and we will get our turn

Tigers need to be tough

Yep, don't get how Madden would get more game time being backup to Chin, when if he stayed he would be backup to Brooks and Doueihi......surprised the Knights didnt go after Jock
Knights want the other Wests Tigers halfback, that's why....

If Madden goes to the Panthers, he would be a back-up to the Chin - so how can that be "regular first grade time?"

He's not a long term NRL Half, Which he's obviously accepted.
So if you're going to be a back up, Why not be a back up to the best?

If he has anything more in him that we haven't seen - Maybe he'll find it there.

my bad, should've reworded it better. was chasing regular gametime at WT. if you're going to be an understudy you may as well learn in the best system in the comp. can't blame him for going there instead of staying here and playing second fiddle.

He has had his chance over the last couple of weeks and has done nothing, he is just a very average NSW cup player I am sure another will come along , good luck at the panthers getting game time he will even be further down the pecking order behind there NSW cup half’s

Or maybe having a disgruntled player in the ranks is a sign of Sheens focus.
If he’s going to persevere with Brooks then no point in having negative energy around.
And he can always move Jacko to 7, where necessary.

He can still become a long term nrl half he will probably sign with Penrith for 2 years learn a heap of Nathan cleary and the Penrith system then sign with another club a more complete player as a starting half

Jai Field plays for my Super League team Wigan Warriors, he’s been excellent but playing fullback role but can also cover half/ 5/8 he would be a great pick up but might need to pay a transfer fee but definitely worth it
