Lets go and get 4 of them 2 wingers, 2 centres.Koroibete was superb against SA. That big tackle was reminiscent of the big hit he put on the Eels' player in his debut game. What a tremendous loss he has been to WTs.

Yep I reckon he’s peaked.Parker used to be a great defender, but he has been battered so badly the last 2 years he is a shadow of his former self. Wanted him 3 years ago, but not now
Brooks played half in 2 of those games so what applies to Madden must apply to him as well, more so because he has first touch of the ball.Lets be real about this.
Madden has had ample opportunity to step up and deliver and he has struggled. He and his mgmt made some really clear contract views that he isn't getting a fair chance & he want's NRL commitment from us.
In his 9 starts this year he has had 1 good game, not a way to back the comments up & earn a contract which included terrible sides like the Warriors, Titans & Knights and was totally ineffective in which we lost in ugly games with.
His try assist wasn't great, yes it was a try assist in a 4 on 2 situation where 1 of those defenders raced up out of the line creating a 4 on 1 situation against 12 man team. He did his job and summed it up well, ran and passed.
He scored a great try which was setup by an even better offload from Musgrove it wasn't individual, he also had Brown unmarked on the inside and chose to step run himself and nearly got caught/fell over. He didn't create the try himself and this is the issue - he just doesn't create / identify / organise at the NRL level for others.
His data for the year shows his involvement levels & output are low for a halfback. He has touched the ball 30-40 times a game & has 3 try assists in 9 x 80min games (13 games all up) which just isn't the value for return a NRL halfback should provide.
I just don't see why we would pick him over Hastings, Brooks, AD next year all who offer us more than Madden currently does.
KEVIN YOW YEH my auto correct went crazyKoroibete was originally a Tiger and we have a history of great fast backs
either we unearthed them or signed them .Some include Tedesco ,Papenhausen, Addocarr , Larry Corowa, Ellery Hanley, even remember Kevin Yeohoyay , and of course Benji .
Pity we let Teddy,JAC and Paps go not much foresight

Crossland from the knightsMadden is no great loss. We'll find another backup half on minimal $$ on the merry-go-round.

Both are millstones for the Tigers and it's best if both are gone with Hastings slotting into half.
We now have Ofahengaue and Brown to cover 13.
If you saw Yoh Yeh play, compared to Kepoa and T'oa there is no contest. How is referencing a Winger that finished playing over 50 years ago remotely relevant?
Considering Yow Yeh played 3 Seasons at "Balmain" and finished in 1968 - I very much doubt there is barely anyone that remembers him playing...
Again, I fail to understand the relevance - There's barely even any footage of him.
ps: When another club signs a player you want to keep - It's not considered "Letting them go"
It's considered them Leaving.

Yoh Yeh would have played State of Origin if such a thing existed, he was top shelf, wing or centre.
Yep I reckon he’s peaked.
Honest footballer though.
Agreed, except if we can renegotiate Brook's contract down to ~$600k a year for a further two years which looks like the plan, then it is a far more balanced salary cap.As much as Luke Brooks divides opinions, he is under contract for another season on anywhere from $900k-$1.1m depending on who you believe. I would doubt any other club would pay any higher than $600k for him at the moment so we'd have to supplement at least $300k for him to play elsewhere.
Now given we would not get another halfback for next season as good as Brooks, I think it would be stupid of us to let him go. Plus we get a $188k allowance for him next season I believe.

Why not give the Laurie - Doeuihi - Brooks - Hastings - Korisau spine a try next season under the new style of Sheens. If it works, extend Brooks at that time!
Kade Hill can be moulded as the future over the next couple of years (or Conti) & potentially Isdale/Large after that.
Agree with this however the problem as have we cannot afford to wait until next year or will there managers.. There player managers will want to get there futures wrapped up over this off season. As much as Luke Brooks divides opinions, he is under contract for another season on anywhere from $900k-$1.1m depending on who you believe. Oh please really? ….. surely there can there be something else you can think of.Further to this I read Joffa wanting out !
Haven't resigned Douehi and Hastings beyond 2023 yet
Why ?
Wouldn't surprise if Nofo and Gildardt don't come back
Is Papalii really coming ????
Sorry you are right im being too negative . I like you hope for better timesOh please really? ….. surely there can there be something else you can think of.
If Madden goes to the Panthers, he would be a back-up to the Chin - so how can that be "regular first grade time?"
Doing the rounds on twitter...Have we been linked to Brad Parker? He’s a great player mate he’s tough and runs a great line and knows how to defend
He’s not leaving because Brooks is better, it will be because of someone younger than him showing more promise? Also, he could get 3 or 4 games per season in a top team, which could be enough to catapult his career. Good for him, good luck son.Madden a confirmed goner.
