Peachy for Staines
I think Peach may be on around similar money so we would be in front with this move , Peach has been a complete waste this year , at least Staines has a go , 1 year with 1 year option in fave club
Liddle to,Dragons get it done Tigers he is not required once API arrives .
Hastings priority , Then AD. Plus a couple more

Interesting.

So Tony Adams is reiterating Sheens thoughts ?
One guarantee in life is if you start out expecting to fail you will !
I don't know, but they are close. When we signed Sheens in 2003 we approached him through Tony Adams.

Don’t know much about this school boy ..From Fox “
For all the rugby union huff and puff about opening the $10 million cheque book to target NRL players the elbow patch brigade might want to get their own backyard in order first.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have landed a significant body blow on rugby union and Wests Tigers by jagging the signature of the son of Wallaby forward Bill Young, Patrick Young.

A lock forward for the Balmain Tigers in the Harrold Matthews Competition, Young is regarded as a similar prototype to Cameron Murray at South Sydney with the Bulldogs quietly celebrating having landed the young gun’s signature on a two-year deal as a development player from 2023.

Young was the player who scored the winning try in the infamous Leichhardt Oval match between GPS rugby teams St Joseph’s and Riverview when one of the railings at the eighth wonder of the world collapsed.

Anyway the Bulldogs have landed a strong emerging player in the son of the former Wallaby forward.”
Probably a bit of an over reaction here. Somehow the Bulldogs appear to have thrown a player who'll still be in high school next a development contract? He only played Matts for us this year so he's likely only 17. A bit young for a development contract in my mind.

We also have Matamua and Faagatu and Laulilii at the club, along with other young forwards like Miller. We just may have too much depth to focus on him too, though i know Sheens had said Young was one to watch for the future.

PANTHERS-TIGERS SWAP DEAL
Penrith and Wests Tigers have discussed a potential player swap which could see Tyrone Peachey return to the Panthers.

The two clubs have spoken about a Peachey/Charlie Staines trade deal for next season. The Panthers have indicated to Staines that he is free to play elsewhere next year with clubs having fielded calls about his availability recently.

The Tigers have long been interested in the 21-year-old flyer but have so far scoffed at his current asking price which is about $400,000 next year. He has dropped down the pecking order at the Panthers and has struggled to feature in first grade this year.

The Panthers first gave Staines permission to test the market in 2020 but he has been unable to find a suitable club. The Tigers are again in the mix.

Peachey has had an unhappy season at the Tigers playing just 12 games and spending a large chunk in reserve grade in his first year at the club. Like Staines, he is contract for next season but the Tigers are willing to cut him loose.

Aside from the clubs needing to agree to the financial terms of the deal one of the other sticking points is the length of contract the Tigers would offer Staines. The Tigers are reluctant to add anything to his current deal.

Peachey played his best football at the Panthers during four seasons at the club. He last played there in 2018 before he made a big money switch to the Titans which he finally committed to after having second thoughts. (DT)
Sounds fair to me
