How did Balmain lose the license, Did they sell out to Wests Ashfield ?

Balmain League Club and Wests Ashfield merged a few years ago, in effect Ashfield took over Balmain League Club. The Balmain Leagues Club at Flemington is now owned and controlled by Wests Ashfield.

I think we should sign Munster.

I guarantee you if you tell these ppl to "shut the F up, it's kids sport", 99% of the time they will (Please don't do this if you can't handle the 1%). They are mostly wimps who live vicariously through the youth. Not singling you out Blaze, just find these people intolerable.

Just turned up to my son’s soccer game in singleton 4-6 years ago and the game prior to his the coach of away team abused referee and walked beside him all the way back to clubhouse 100m away. A lady from adjoining field they walked past got in between and walked with them 14/15yr(assuming) old ref

At one of my son's games two players were openly spitting at teenage ref and when ref said to 'show me some respect' parents of kid called out 'you show them respect first!'. Just imagining what my old man would have done to me if I spat at a ref. Anyway, my son loves the game but the atmosphere at 3/4s of the matches is awful.

I'm not really sure. One of the WestsTigers board members is a director of Bslmain Tigers so I'm guessing there's something there.

I haven’t seen news regarding this officially but I’ve travelled to Flemington regularly in the last month going past where the Leagues Club is. It appears like it’s gone. There is no tigers branding, signage at all. I haven’t gone into the club recently but from the outside it looks like it is under a completely different owner.

Yes you are right cobar but can't discuss signings because we don't have any and some people think that the board and its factional make up might be in part the cause of no signings
