It's a poor forward pack. We signed a few decent ones but let decent ones go, so expecting not much difference. Hoping to sign some good ones (and keep the decent ones we have lol) for 2024.

Twal is an honest defender but can’t bend the line Offa the same and Seyfarth is weak, we need some power up frontTalau may be an option as the bench utility...
Probably not as good as Brown but could prove to be something, for us.
8 Stef
9 Api
10 Twal
11 Papalii
12 Blore
13 Hastings
14 Brown or Talau
15 Pole
16 Offa or Musgrove
17 like some one like Kautoga
Seyfarth, Dias, young James as depth.
When Twal fired up in a few games this year he looked awesome... it's definitely serviceable but definitely not amazing and the depth is incredibly weak.
If that’s the best we can come up with get ready for another wooden spoonThis is my thoughts on our pack including the bench for next season:-
8. Alex Twal
9. Api Koroisau
10. Stefano Utoikamanu
11. Sean Blore
12. Isiah Papalli
13. Jackson Hastings
14. Fonua Pole
15. Zane Musgrove
16. Kitione Kautoga
17. Fa'amanu Brown
I'm assuming we lose Joe O and don't recruit anyone. For depth we have Matamua and Seyfarth.
Some questions:-
1. Is that pack good enough ?
2. What is the weakest position ?
3. Should we play Hastings at 13 ?

I’ve been saying this all year.Starting to think if Papali'i makes it here he'll need to play in the middle.
He's more effective out wide but we have no one with any punch in the middle.
Knowing Sheens, it might be Papali'i and Blore in the middle, with Talau second row and some other centre turned into a second rower.I’ve been saying this all year.
He is very likely to play up front. Stef hasn’t come on, Musgrove and Twal are stagnant….we need aggression.
He wants 600k + a seasonBuy Taupau ...would be cheap, and is a leader.
who plays centre if there's an injury? Swap Kautoga for Talua IMO and re-sign Joffa....This is my thoughts on our pack including the bench for next season:-

He doesn’t play 80 for Penrith. If that’s the clubs intention then are we really going to get the most out of him, or will we all be complaining that he’s not the player he was before?API will play 80 minutes. Can't afford for him not to.
Really? Bit more than I thought but would he be worth that to us to lead & teach these young forwards we have before they all get fazed by losing all the time?He wants 600k + a season
I like big Marty but I think he wants big Dollars.Buy Taupau ...would be cheap, and is a leader.
