A Racket?
Paying respect and tribute in the most deserving way is not a racket, what do you mean?
A racket, among other things, is used as a term for a noise. You can pay tribute in many ways including observing silence. Not disrespectful to the Queen or anyone, you included.

If the Karen comment was aimed at me, it was misplaced. I don't care how they show respect, I'm just personally glad I don't have to listen to 96 bells. I respect the Queen and would be happy to pay respects in other ways.

Then sometimes the church bells play as well.

What happens now with the Queen's birthday public holiday, obviously it's going to be the King's birthday but is the Queen's cancelled, isn't it in a couple of weeks.
Elizabeth you could have waited until the holiday was over. Wait till I see you. 🙂
