Why don't we just ask the players who are on contract or who have just singed to play for the Wests Tigers, Who they would like to play with. Watched the Collingwood magpies play tonight and they the players talk about a connection. Its out there and probably leaning towards players taking controll of the room but if they play with players they want to play with could just be the answer. I dont want to have a beer with someone i dont like. DO YOU?

From my point of view I just do not see what if any hype there is in Luke Brooks. Yes he can tackle and yes he is a goer and has speed,BUT he cannot organise, make correct decisions especially on the 5th, kicks out on the full,fails to find touch,does not kick 40/20s and seems to religiously fail under pressure. I quite often read on here how the forward pack is to blame, but seriously a good half takes the pressure off through a very good kicking game and right decisions to create chances within a game, I don't see that happening very often. I also personally think Madden will be a very good halfback in the future years and will surpass Brooks at a younger age. Just my thoughts, but I guess we will all find out.

You summed him up pretty much but I’ll add he really can’t defend either. He can run that’s about the only positive I can say about Brooks but when you look at his tackles he still misses on average 3-5 a game. Brooks isn’t the answer and I hope to god (if there is one) that he signs with Knights come Nov 1 we have to try something different going forward.

That’s only because they were looking to sign a fullback to replace paps, just cherry picking parts to support your argument doesn’t make it facts. Also could show that as we are the spooners when they couldn’t get a fullback they went with our next best player!

Next best - they wanted Doueihi and Maumalo before him… and that’s just at us.

Anyone watching the finals? Great to see Nofo get knocked out being with Melbourne. LL has been horrendous for the Cowboys.

Watched about 30 seconds of the Melbourne game and surprise surprise, Nofa comes in off his wing again and gets dragged for about 10m over the try line for Canberra to score. Don't think he's learned much and hopefully Bellamy gave him a reality check after the game.

Brooks and Laure are our best backs. Rather than removing them I would think the goal would be to improve the quality around them,

If the recruitment team can just focus please on getting top shelf 1,6,7,9 and 13. Don’t stop turning over those players until you are satisfied they are the equal to the best in NRL. Sheens, O’Donnell, Benji, Robbie, Cook, Wayde, , Pascoe and Lee?
