Edwards is a gun. Latrell, Tedesco, Ponga and Tommy Turbo have better games when they are at their best.

Edwards is just so consistent though and he isn't far off those guys.

Tedesco is the best player in the game because he is consistently really really good.

I think Edwards is underated due the sheer number of gun players who play fullback.

I don't think I've seen many posts "frothing over" the possibility of Staines coming.

Okay, that sounds really wrong... But you know what I mean! 😳

I just said he was "okay", would be cheap and could possibly add depth and maybe competition for Laurie.

Don’t even know if he’d crack our backline … think we need to aim higher that’s all. Need centres desperately

Yeh agree.

Centre has been in issue for so long. I remember one game this season I sent my dad (tigers too) a text saying I didn't think I'd ever seen a worse pair of centres than they had that game.

I think Naden can be pretty good, but for some reason (I suspect Sheens!) they kept him on the wing. For some reason he is a REALLY bad winger!

I still hold hope for Talau, but am very concerned he could end up being one of those 'players who never were' due to constantly being injured.

If Bradman Best is on the outer at Newcastle (think I've seen it) I'd very happily take him; I wouldn't lose sleep over a straight swap with Brooks tbh.

We need to get as far away as possible from the Madge recruitment Style of having a while squad of average joes. We need stars and talented but inexperienced backups. The Roosters model. Throw in one or two solid pros across the forwards and backs with the young guns as they learn.
Next season we have two star players, both new signings. We need some existing players to step up, those that don't will be straight out the door and replaced by a teenager

This is the first season Madge had ‘cap’ to play with after Cleary. He got API and IP, not a bad start. Now even more cap available to do more, but his been punted

Again, AD 6, Brooks 7 Jacko 13 was our best footy all year. Beat the Cowboys.

Not when your team is constantly on the back foot. Don’t be surprised if he doesn’t pump out the same stats at Parra ..

He won’t have the same luxury as a good kicking game and forward pack like he did at Parra

I disagree. I think top players are top players because they perform consistently well. If you are geting walloped all over the park it's impossible for the team to perform but good players still play well.

Sure there can be problems getting into form for some players at time but assuming he is fit and injury free he'll kill it.
