I'd strongly consider Nathan Brown if Parra covers some of his freight.

I know he's not popular around these parts for a number of reasons, but he's as good a ball player as they come for forwards and lets us move Hastings to the 7 full-time without sacrificing a lot in terms of that ball-playing 13.

You are probably thinking of Aidan Sezer, who played for Leeds this season. I don’t think he would come back, as he had quite a few offers to come back to the NRL for 2022, but the best offer he got was about $300000 less a season than Leeds were paying him. He stayed in England for the better money and the fact that he can probably play until he is late thirties over there.

we likely won't be moving Hastings to 7 though, he will take the 13 role

If we're paying him a million next year and we have an opportunity to free up $700k by letting him go that is a good second rower or centre. I absolutely think we should be pursuing that.

Aiden Sezer is rubbish, a good 7 and Canberra win that GF against Roosters
George Williams on the other hand if we can get him then that is a good result signed until end of 2024 though in ESL

the Newcastle forum had the ludicrous suggestion on Sunday that they were getting Brooks 2023 for 300k and we were chipping in 700k lol

interesting Newcastle are now after Daniel Atkinson, plays 7 for sunshine Coast Falcons and centre for Italy RLWC. Had previously played for Storm last year
