2022 RLWC

Good kid
Good family
Big on work ethic and effort…

Hope he kills it.
Reckon he’s been ready to play for a bit - held back by the top dogs
Yeh, I agree. He's more physically and mentally ready than most. Would've played some firsts this year without the long-term injury.

Exciting prospect.

Yes when I watched a couple of pre season games this kid Rua was a standout
Im hoping he has good year

Golden try for the 2 5-10min halves

If ya csnt score, tough luck ya walk away with a point each

That system worked perfectly for many decades it is only relativey new that the seppo crap of golden point started and it should be removed immediately

Yeah, definitely needs the miles in his legs. This year in Cup he struggled to get through 80 minutes without injuring something, would love to see him play all games for Cook Islands and come back fitter.

Was a kid against men earlier in the year....
And about the only one in the middle having a fair dig.

He'll kick off on the bench in firsts I would think, Which will help get his motor up....
He's all effort - Needs to control it is all.
He'll get there.

I still don't understand why the NRL hasn't moved to that yet. If they're hellbent on having the extra time to keep the broadcasters happy, why not make it a little harder for teams to score the points so they can give more of their product out to the broadcasters. It will make for flashier footy too, more throwing the pill around to try and get across the stripe.

More games will rightfully finish as draws which is more than fair. Seems unfair that two teams can go hammer and tong for 80 minutes and square up only to lose it to whomever can get within 30m of their sticks.

either one of them will do mate
Both have a lot of appeal and I believe for the right price.... one could be an option.

Parterning AD.

My preference would be Moses.

It's funny you say AD is a centre.... Dylan was quite the handy centre too when playing there earlier this year. I think he'd excell there more than 6 as he has less expectation on him, organisationally and play making wise.

you copied that excuse from the ,that Brookes lot.lol

Huge opportunity.

Not sure he's been to England before but now he has...

Cook Island team isn't as stacked as say, NZ & Australia but I'm sure he will take a lot out of this experience.

Mitch Moses said as much when reflecting on his time during the 2017 world cup.
Yep agree, just seems potentially premature given his injury.

Why? If he passed his medicals then he should be playing. Get some miles in the legs and let the players be proud to represent their heritage.

At the moment he would be lucky to get NRL gametime next year anyway.

Hope he does well, really enjoying watching all the various nations play.
I am probably just being conservative. Only just coming back from an ACL injury and heading into the Top 30 next year. Maybe thought there would be more caution shown but as you suggest, if he passed a medical then good to go...
