Have they said that? Unlike Israel Falou who expressed that view publicly, I have not heard them say anything.
I actually think Folau copped it a bit unfairly. He was just preaching the same sort of stuff that these players have endorsed via their stand.
The bible also endorses slavery, but I do not think these players are keeping servants in their shed’s

I don't think you meant this point the way I read it but this is the way I see it. The bible endorses a bunch of unacceptable stuff but religious people choose not to believe that stuff.

My wife is religious. She is the most religious person I know. She doesn't endorse the Chuch's position on homosexuals.

I get your point in that they haven't preached what they believe but to me it's the same thing. They've made a stand on this issue.

Everyone has different opinions and beliefs and everyone should be able to express that and not feel ostracised in doing so. However, if you do take offence to something that goes against your faith or values, you can't pick and choose the parts you disagree with and ignore anything you partake in that contradicts with your faith.

How many players can honestly put their hand up and say they follow all religious teachings as they are intended? They've probably broken half a dozen of them in the offseason alone.

I think it's a weird mix of culture, race and religion. I think we just need to recognise that there is a big part of the Rugby League community that are not OK with the "inclusiveness".. it can be a part of NRL policy but doesn't need to be advertised.

As for the argument about their faith, I wouldn't appreciate if someone told me what part of my faith I should believe in and what part I shouldn't. It should apply to them as well.

It would be a different if there is an extremely small proportion of it but it seems almost 70% of NRL players have some sort of a Polynesian background and many of them feel pretty strongly about this.

It's a crappy situation to be in for sure though.

Manly in the headlines again with Bob Fulton’s daughter being sacked. Are are stealing all of our negative headlines.

Q; If negative headline sell news, is this why WestsTigers have such a large fan base?
I think that was probably part of Seibolds contract. From what I’ve heard you wouldn’t want her around either.
