The 22-year-old burst onto the scene in 2020, scoring four tries on debut. He increased that tally to 23 tries from 38 appearances across three seasons, including a try in the Panthersā grand final win over the Eels.
Staines became somewhat of a cult figure at the foot of the mountains after crossing for six tries in his first two NRL games, earning the nickname the āForbes Ferrariā.

Staines says heās looking forward to a new start under coach Tim Sheens.
āThe club has a new coaching staff, incredible facilities, some great new signings, and a strong junior nursery, so Iām really excited to be a part this club.ā
Sheens says Staines is a player he looks forward to working with.
āCharlie has shown what he is capable of,ā said Sheens.
āLike most of our squad, heās young and still learning.
Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe says Staines is a welcome addition.
āWe are delighted to have Charlie join the Wests Tigers," said Pascoe.
āI would also like to thank Tyrone for his efforts.
I personally believe he would defend better in the middle with less agility required as to on the edge. If he spends the off-season with Twal working on his defence heāll make a good lock.So Doueihi will be working overtime this off season on his defence in the centres. He needs to consult ET.

Two minor corrections, Bob Boland and Bob Mara, Les has been in the slam for a dozen years after being identified as Michael Harleyās cohort in drug running.Bob Borland, Les Mara, Ron Clothier are a few names that come to mind and I think Len Killeen might have also had a year or two at Penrith
I'd say it's because we agreed to take him at full freight for 2023 and will weigh up his value moving forward into 2024 after that. He is reportedly on $500k. This was a story a few months ago.Yea rhe 1 year option is weird
A 1 year contract, thanks interesting???
