TIGER TANTRUMS OVER SHEENS COMMENTS

Tim Sheens is putting noses out of joint at the Wests Tigers among the playing group.

His very public recent comments around recruitment – first Cameron Munster and now Mitchell Moses – being offered multimillion-dollar deals is hardly encouraging for current halves Luke Brooks, Adam Doueihi and Jackson Hastings.

All three are off contract at the end of next year and can talk to rival clubs from next week.

Sheens has made no attempt to extend their contracts. (Slothy)
They got the wooden spoon..fair dinkum they need to toughen up or get out. Not one player apart from Offa and maybe Hastings can winge about anything after some of the performances.were put in.

Instead of winging about it, get on the paddock and work on the individual.negatives each player has.

The fans are over unaccountability. Unfortunately the board and Ceo arnt accountable so see why the players are as well.

Brooks has one foot out the door to Newy, AD didn’t want to talk about extensions until after the World Cup. Hastings has been told he is seen as a 13 and not in the halves.. where is the problem???

All very well if you can replace them. If Sheens doesn't have them in his plans tell them so they know where they stand instead of grandstanding about going for players who have no intention of signing no matter how much he wants to throw at them.

the only other joint venture club is St George Illawarra Dragons, in NSW Cup they are St George Illawarra Dragons. Wests Tigers should be wests tigers in nsw cup not Magpies.
Roosters, souths Manly etc are not joint ventures so they elect to partner with Norths, newton's blacktown etc
Sooner NSW Cup is changed to wests tigers the better to show unity of one club
The lower grades under that so be it
Your all about unity but then want to do what another merged club does? Lol.

Lol he is playing a mile above anything we have and is the best of those available in the market.

He is exactly who we should be chasing just like Munster before him if we are serious about wanting to make the finals any time soon.
Yeah let’s bring back the guy who tanked his last game here and left in a tantrum. Seems like a high quality character.

If we were in the market for a professional whinger and flat track bully then he would definitely be the best available.

Surely this is Tim's givin right to search and try and deliver the necessary personnel changes required to move upwards from last on 🪜. If this leads to a feeling of uncertainty amongst some so be it why let sub par and Below mediocrity performance and standards become acceptable and comfortable amoung club and players. Sometimes you need to be cruel to be kind ! Wakeup calls and Accountability order of the day. Go Tim.

What do you think about Marty Demps? I'd love him back
I've read rumours he's going to return to the Bulldogs... and Parra were trying to get him but Manly wouldn't release.

I think he's at the back end of his career and he was very ordinary this year.

Didn't look like he liked the dirty work and was more concerned with self preservation.

Honestly feel sorry for the club that signs him.

I tend to agree Bucko.
Most of the players had more than enough games at the back end of last season to retain their services but all we got was sub-par performances.
Tim already said that there will be players that won't be here next year, so be it.

Hallelujah mate right on always been a monster on retreating defence never been or had it in him to be the dreaded 1st carry man the uncompromising type. All glory no guts.

Lets hope more will be revealed after 1 Nov. Im presuming there has been some recruiting going on, both here and in ESL, that will be announced leading to more horse trading with the 2023 season a prime topic of release trades and general 'whats in it for us' questions needing sorting.

I still trust Sheens at this stage and have no reason to doubt that as yet. He is working to a plan.

Hopefully the true, real clean out that has happened this year, means finally WT are serious about not just buying anyone left unsigned in the bargain basement but are really competing for players of value, in positions identified as needed. The Munster example was a positive sign.
