Ageing roster ??? We will have one of the youngest rosters in the NRL next year and only Api over 30 who played SOO this year and one of the best Hookers in the NRL... If all goes ahead with what been said today Sheen's deserves a statue out the front IMO

Idk if it’s just me but 6-17 I’m happy I like our halves and our pack quite a lot
However, I do have my doubt about our 1-5 - I do like Laurie but he’s been very average especially if you compare him to other FB’s in the game IMO
Nofa is good however defensively needs work, Staines isn’t really proven (as any winger playing in that Penrith team would shine if were being truthful) - then AJ/Naden do lack a bit of class but both have potential
Might come across as a harsh marker, however if we really wanna make a dent in this competition and compete I think brining in a Domenic Young/Bradman Best would help us a lot
Maybe Klemmer/Best for Brooks?
Nothing to do with the fact he actually has money to spend you don't think?
To be fair Sheens has moved on the deadwood to be able to spend some cash as well.
Madge I felt saw things in players that no one else could see and that was his biggest downfall.

I don't believe all these good forwards are being signed so Hastings can play 7. Sheens and Benji want a quick running pair of halves and Hastings ain't it.

True, and at this stage we don’t know if he’s spent it wisely or not.

That's one component. He's also an excellent communicator like Cleary, Bellamy Bennett, and Payten. The style of football he wants the team to play also imo attracts players.
I have been saying this for a while, every good team needs an Alex Twal. Nothing flash in attack, but he has a big motor and doesn't know how to miss a tackle. He is a lovely fella too.

I don't think that's very fair at all....
Easier to move on the likes of Mbye (Even Brooks) When there's only a year to go.
Being stuck with Packer, McQueen, Reynolds, Mbye etc. all at the start of big money deals is a very different mountain to climb.
Blokes like Musgrove - Well, We don't really know what we've sold there yet....
Not unless he is going at a bargain price.

It's way too early to think we've turned the corner. Brown was a reserve grader most of the year and Bateman has apparently been ordinary in the ESL. Klemmer is at the back end of his career.
Nothing is official yet as well.
The only one I think is a good signing is Klemmer but we are desperate for a backrower. I just figure go for Fifita or Frizzel over Bateman.
I wouldn't. Blore is more of a lock to be honest. Injury or not I think he could go great there.
Good luck with finding a reasonable half back. Wests tigers are not that stupid.

I don't think he can ball play though at all. He just seems a runner of the footy.
Has the cross field cover of a postage stamp...
Not a prop and doesn't cover enough ground at lock.
Doesn't sting in defence or dint the line in attack...
He's just a lesser version of Joffa...

What is Klemmer ? 29? in 3 yrs 33. How old is baetman in 3yrs? How old is API in 3 yrs.
I'm only guessing ages, and i like the recruitment , but my concern is so many elder players tying up the cap for so long on big money.
What about the massive recruitment mess left by Cleary when he also had $$$ to spend?
