It is a risk, but its one we may need to take. I’m not happy about Woods if legit either, Bateman and Klemmer I think will be good for us although I understand why everyone is concerned about Bateman. If it does happen while I won’t be happy with Woods if it means getting Klemmer I’ll bite the bullet.

I agree with you about the goal, but you also need the players to do it. Moses isn’t the best half in the NRL, but compared to who is available to sign he would be in the top 5.

I'm not over the moon with reports Woods is coming back but isn't this a 1yr gig?
I would rather have Woods giving it his all that having Zane Musgrove who was a big disappointment for me.

I really hope it's not like this.
I would say it would be 1 year only if it does happen. Most likely retires after next season and gets to return and retire a Tiger in his last year. But given how’s he played at Sharks and Dragons, I would say his best is long gone.

The two signings in any professional organization would be completely separate deals. Do the Klemmer deal but not the Woods deal.
I bet the Woods deal is done though and it's just stupid. To me it's another poor Sheens decision. It's not the way to turn us around.

He might be of value helping blokes like Stefano, as long as he doesn't teach him how to moonwalk going backwards.
But who knows maybe Klemmer has told us that if we sign Woods he’ll sign with us. More than likely we aren’t the only ones pursuing him but we are in the box seat for next season at this stage. I’m not happy either if legit, but like I said this is Sheens running the club again.

It's a worry. I expect to here signings like Sualli and Fifita or Nanai with some rich dude who wants to win. I'm hearing about Woods.
Whatever. I'm going to bed. To me this is starting to sound like the Titanic.
We wouldn’t be able to sign Sualli, Fifita or Nanai. Unfortunately Woods is a realistic target.

Have to release another player to sign Brown if we do get all 3.

Immortal Joey Johns has been away from the game for 13 years - name one Halfback that he mentored to the highest level since then? Certainly no one at Newcastle. Brooks was mostly 5/8 at Junior rep level & played centre off the bench in the 2015 Indig All-stars game in the first half & then 5/8 in the 2nd half when Foran came off.
