More than likely its to make sure Klemmer wants to come to us. That’s why Woods signed with the Dogs originally was to play with Klemmer. After he got moved to Newcastle, so did Woods to Sharks.

We don't desperately need Klemmer especially if it means singing Woods. Don't do the deal.

I would take Klemmer but there is no benefit in the Woods deal for us.

We now have Bateman and Woods as reputable targets for next season and that is a lot of money on two guys who may be ordinary.

I agree with you about the goal, but you also need the players to do it. Moses isn’t the best half in the NRL, but compared to who is available to sign he would be in the top 5.

I would rather have Woods giving it his all that having Zane Musgrove who was a big disappointment for me.

I would say it would be 1 year only if it does happen. Most likely retires after next season and gets to return and retire a Tiger in his last year. But given how’s he played at Sharks and Dragons, I would say his best is long gone.

I bet the Woods deal is done though and it's just stupid. To me it's another poor Sheens decision. It's not the way to turn us around.

Yeh I tend to agree, it's not what would call a key signing 🤣
He might be of value helping blokes like Stefano, as long as he doesn't teach him how to moonwalk going backwards.

Well find out what version of Brooks we get with Sheens has him for a preseason.
I’m willing to give him a go ….. there is no one with any quality out there that I can see to replace him.
So some of you constant critics hold your fire … Sheens knows what he can do with the roster he has.

By the sounds of it, Tim Sheens wants to have a pre-season with Brooks before he considers a release.
