Remembrance Day 11 o'clock on the 11th day on the 11th month

Today marked a very significant day in the calendar to pause, remember & to give thanks to all those people who fought in the Wars & Conflicts, and to honour all the armed force members who tragically died in their line of duty. Undoubtedly we think of their families and friends who have suffered losing their loved ones.

Thank You

God Bless

I am fortunate that I live right next to Cenotaph where I was able to join others in a moment of silence.
My thoughts went out to all those men, women and children whose lives were tragically caught up in the horrors of war.

Anzac and Remembrance Day is a big thing in my family
My Grandfather and 4 of his brothers enlisted in the Light Horse in WW1
They thought it would be a great adventure and would be back by Xmas
4 brothers went to Gallipoli and then to the Western Front, they must have had terrible experiences which not one of them ever talked about
These days are significant to remember and we should never forget them
